Whilst surfing the net this morning catching up on the football results i noticed that there was a link titled "The Vickers Scandal". It would appear that in light of recent foul play the BBC sports team have go hold of the story. From speaking with the BBC this morning, it would appear that SKY SPORTS will also be following up the story.

It would appear that Andy Shermer somehow feels he is in the firing line as the BGO scandal explodes in the mainstream media.
As the polt thickens an annonymous source said to be from the BBC has indicated that the Tree Bummer known as Lee Vickers may have had an accomplice in the match fixing saga.
A source close to the BGS said "If this is only the top of a ball in a large bunker other perpetraitors must be apprehended."
WAVES!! Mr Vickers this is a tsunami!!!
Rest easy, we shop at Evans the retail outlet for the larger lady! It is my view that an over the trouser mini skirt will suffice.

In light of recent scandal reference the "tree bummer award" i would like to propose a new idea, please feel free to comment:
As each individual is aware the winner of the BGO receives a Trophy and the JACKET. The "tree bummer" only receives a trophy. I put it to the right honorable gentlemen, that the "Tree Bummer" should receive a trophy and a Skirt and be made to put it on at the presentation event at the Crown to be worn all night.
Would the right honorable Lord B like to comment!
Unfortunatly Lord B is unavailable for comment and quite frankly he is not qualified to talk to honourable friends about the BGO, BGS or Tree Bummers around the world.

I concur and feel it would be fitting to see the winner in 'THE BGO JACKET'(TM)and 'The Tree Bummer'(TM) in a skirt for the entire evening.
I would also like to update on some BGS weekend players news.
Ben Croot was unable to play on Saturday cos his Mrs said he had to get some shoes for his nipper!! a mans job? i think not!
Jay Croot put his clubs up for sale after losing 8 calloways at £3 quid each and shooting a 106 at Swindon.
Rod, 18 handicapper shot a 106 on Friday? handicap review due for you mate.
Duey did not play at the weekend, I dont think that will make a difference to his game anyway, he is still shooting 120+.
Andy Shermer shot 82 and said Bloke!................I hadn't had them.............extra 4 shots i'd of had a 78. Genius!!!!
HARD 0N Aka Adam Shermer was a mess treatening to fight the ginger one. He proceeded to be sick in the taxi at a cost of £40 ouch!
Alan Davies Aka Moppa spent Saturday horizontal thanks to a session at the crown on friday. Cut him some slack he had 5 pints!!
