Following on from Brendon's post I would like to add that last event was yet again a successful venture well organised by Brendon and Ben with only a small part played by myself.
I was totally unprepared for my public speech in the crown but hope I got across the idea of this page and it's usefulness in being here both for your guys information but also for (constructive) comments and ideas....Lol
I have yet to work out the way of posting a word ducument on here so for now I have emailed you all a copy of the results, if you cannot read this there is a sheet in the Crown bar for all to see.
The next event is already underway and you will have details very soon.
Here's to seeing you all again very soon for the next BGO!

Yo Roller boots, I thought your speech was fine, the hair and the outfit needs sortin for next time. Also you can tell that Ronnie Meese that Pat is my date on the next bgo.
Brendon I agree on the hair and outfit....as for your date....you better be ok with swallowing....If I remember correctly that was one of Pat's conditions!
Gentlemen I fear scandal is about to hit the BGO. On checking the results I was horrified to see I had marked my card with the wrong handicap it was done off 24 and my published handicap is 26 thus giving me two more shots.
Therefore it could be that I am not really a treebummer, that there is another treebummer out there somwhere(as well as neil lee). I will place this in the hands of the commitee.
I will of course hand back the treebummer trohpy if it is found I am not a treebummer and the real treebummer is outed.

The 5th Anual BGO was a great success. The bar will need to be raised at the 6th BGO to top that.
In light of information presented by Lee Vickers, i feel a full investigation should take place and the "tree bummer" award should go to Lee Smith.
Oh and by the way i think Pat is playing us as he told me he was my date at the next BGO, move over CHAP.

Gentlemen,
There seems call for an official investigation by the BGS committee regarding Lee Vickers ommition of handing in an incorrect score card, signed by his marker. I believe the penalty for handing in an incorrect score card is disqualification from the event. Any winnings are returned (Tree Bummers Trphy) and points deducted or added to handicap are reversed to pre tournement standings.
I will obviously be checking this ruling with R&A and conferring with committee before a decision is reached.
As a further note, commendation to Mr Vickers for his Gentlemanly conduct on this matter.

ANDY SHERMER , HAVING MARKED THE THE CARD IN QUESTION, I WOULD OF THOUGHT ITS DOWN TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO TELL THE MARKER THE CORRECT HANDICAP AND HAVING WITNESSED THE GOLF THE TROPHY IS FULLY DESERVED. ALSO LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING LEE IN FULL EVENING DRESS AT THE NEXT B.G.O BLOKES
